Using ScoreFlippers EVENTS Registrations to ScoreFlippers SCORING

Modified on Mon, Aug 10 at 2:00 PM

If you’re collecting meet registrations in ScoreFlippers EVENTS, you can use that same registration data in ScoreFlippers SCORING, so you don’t have to re-enter athletes manually.

What this means?

When athletes register through EVENTS, those registrations can be brought into SCORING to help you build your meet roster faster and reduce duplicate entry by using the EVENTS to SCORING.

Why it helps

  • Less manual work: no re-typing athlete lists
  • Fewer errors: reduces mismatched names and missing athletes
  • Faster meet setup: move from registration to scoring more smoothly

When to use this

Use this when:

  • You’re running registration in ScoreFlippers EVENTS
  • You plan to score the meet in ScoreFlippers SCORING

How to:

Step 1: Open your Event, Click on Event Admin

Step 2: Click on EVENTS to SCORING

Step 3: Click LINK: EVENTS TO SCORING

From here you have two options:

Option 1: (What we reccommed)

Enter in your session size, division counts, squad count, squad tolerance and age range. You will then click EVENTS AI - Organize My Meet... This will automatically create your meet for you. To view the sessions and divisions click Event Logistics. If you want to change anything you can just go back to the EVENTS AI Settings and edit what you need. Once it looks the way you would like it. Click on CREATE MEET WITH EVENTS AI SETTINGS.

Option 2:

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on CREATE BASIC MEET - NO EVENTS AI.

This will transfer all of the athletes into a meet. You will need to go and create your sessions and then you will create Age Groups / Divisions. You can also use the "SESSION/DIVISION AI" tool under the SESSIONS tab.
